Frauke Heard-Bey, historian and political scientist, talks about memories of her first visit to the United Arab Emirates in 1967 (then known as the Trucial States) and meeting with the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father of the UAE, in his majlis in the desert.
